Crookers AKA Phra has uploaded a brand new mix titled “Livin’ in America,” which he has made specifically “for you low riders” out there. The hour-long mix contains hand-picked tracks that you’ve probably heard Phra play here and there before, and the combination of them all is nothing short of fun. The mix is fit for any party or dance floor, and puts you in high spirits with its broad range of genres including everything from electro to trap to jungle. We’re eagerly awaiting the track list, which Phra has said he will upload at some point — there are actually three new tracks included in this mix, two under the “Crookers” alias and one under another one of Phra’s names, “Luckybeard.”
Out today is a remix EP from Boys Noize, featuring the tracks “Ich R U” and “What you Want” that have been remixed by a variety of big names. And by big, we mean Jacques Lu Cont, Chromeo, Jimmy Edgar, D.I.M., and Nozeita. Below is just a taste, and doesn’t get much better than this — each artist brings to the table their own unique style, while keeping the tracks suitable for both kick-back listening and festival partying. You can pick up the EP, which offers three remixes of “What you Want” and two of “Ich R U,” on Beatport and iTunes.

James Egbert has given us a nice peek at a new original track, “Chopper,” set to be released on January 7. The nearly four minute preview takes you into a story, painted by chaos and tinged with hints of seduction. The song is high energy, fast-paced, and keeps you on your toes. We look forward to its release, and are thoroughly enjoying the glimpse given to us for the time being.
NAPT, that tasty duo from the UK, just uploaded a brand new, 45-minute long mix of delicious tracks. “Retro Forward Exclusives Mix 2013″ boasts both dance-floor bass and kick-back melodies, and manages to balance both with finesse. The best part of it all — it’s completely free, available for you to download off the player down below, or off the SoundCloud page here.
Out now on Dim Mak Records is a new EP from Dirty Disco Youth, “Drive.” Containing three original tracks and five remixes by big names including LAZRtag and Moonbootica, the EP is explosive in style and energy. “Drive” brings a strong, dynamic drop, while “Crossroads” keeps you moving with a consistent grinding bass. “We Own the World” is much more anthemic in style, and a great way to wrap up listening to this EP. You can grab the EP on Beatport.
