Out today is a remix EP from Boys Noize, featuring the tracks “Ich R U” and “What you Want” that have been remixed by a variety of big names. And by big, we mean Jacques Lu Cont, Chromeo, Jimmy Edgar, D.I.M., and Nozeita. Below is just a taste, and doesn’t get much better than this — each artist brings to the table their own unique style, while keeping the tracks suitable for both kick-back listening and festival partying. You can pick up the EP, which offers three remixes of “What you Want” and two of “Ich R U,” on Beatport and iTunes.
On January 14th, a new EP from Mumbai Science will be dropped on Lektroluv Records. This will be the duo’s 9th EP, showcasing the original track “Impact” as well as two remixes from John Roman and The Advent & Industrialyzer (Music & Machine). Impact is a strong, heavy track that brings you into that festival mood — it does not fail to live up to its name. The two remixes each offer a unique take on the song, but maintain the underlying vibe of the track in all its glory. Keep an eye out for this release!
Nuage Eliott released his “Release The Best EP”. The 3 track EP contains techno, hip-hop/trap, and minimal influences. Really covers a large stroke of the minimal experimental genres (Beatspit fav is “Zidane”) but retains it’s value as an EP. AND!… The EP is free! You can DL via Mediafire (Direct DL: HERE)!
Modek’s EP “The Family” released today and it’s pretty cool. Naming his three tracks on the release generic family name’s the songs are anything but. However each track does retain it’s own uniqueness like the different personalities of family members, “Donny” being intense, “Jimmy” being enigmaticly playful and “Sally” being a commanding thumper (momma figure).
